About Us - As the Viking Veterans Association
Our association was founded to bring together people of every background and all ages to have fun, talk and organize events with each other.
This is your opportunity to meet new friends – we’re always happy to welcome new members to our group. Drop in and see us – we’d love to meet you! The Association web site is intended to keep members of the Association in touch with each other. The Association was founded in 2008.
The web site is the hub of the Association. It is a chronicle of the activities of the Association and will provide a means of communicating between members.
All members are encouraged to use the web site as a resource and virtual meeting place. Members of the Association are encouraged to contribute to the web site and to the forum.

The Royal Anglian Regimental Headquarters
Regimental Headquarters is at the core of the Regiment. It is where the Colonel of the Regiment's staff work to take an overview of the Regiment, develop policies, plan and manage events, dispense Regimental Charity, edit 'Castle' magazine and manage the recruitment of officers.

The Headquarters is located at Bury St. Edmunds and shares the last remaining building of Gibraltar Barracks, formerly the Depot of the Suffolk Regiment, with the Suffolk Regiment Museum and an Army Careers Office.

The 1st Battalion is currently in the mechanized infantry role, the 2nd Battalion in the light role and the 3rd Battalion is a Territorial Army.
